With roots in Dallas and a current residence in San Antonio, Tedd's DJ journey is a fusion of two Texas musical landscapes, creating a unique sonic experience for partygoers, clubbers, and ravers alike. AJS#175 The Reverend Kathy Russell

I have known of this weeks  guest for a few years now. I didn't feel compelled to reach out to her until I learned that she once had her own public access television show in the 90's! I had to know more. I thought that was the coolest thing ever. It turns out, she is in fact awesome. Kathy is one of the pioneering figures of Texas drum & bass and underground electronic music culture. Based in Austin, she has spent more than three decades in the dance music community through music as a DJ, producer, promoter, and curator. In 1995, she launched the ambient radio show Rainbow Freestyle on KVRX 91.7 FM, and in 1996 founded Ambient Camping, the long-running outdoor electronic music gathering that has become a cornerstone of the Texas underground.  Representing Austin TX, please welcome The Reverend Kathy RussellTracklist and links below. Please enjoy❤️Back next week-Thomas

Jason has been wrecking bassbins across the globe for 30 years. His turntablist style, born from hip-hop roots, has evolved into full-on tear-out madness. AJS#172 UFO!

This weeks guest is another pioneer in American Bass music culture. I first became aware of him during the beginning days of the internet.  Through the Phunckateck Crew: As a co-founder of this seminal San Francisco collective in 1996, he worked alongside early US jungle pioneers to establish the West Coast D&B scene. The raves looked legendary and his sets and mixtapes from this period were some of my favorite. Over the years I have had the good fortune to see him live a few times now and he ALWAYS rinses the place. Ed continues to push boundaries in all aspects of dance music. He has worked with and put out records with some the biggest names in the underground. No need to name drop. There are too many anyway. This weeks guest has had a few exclusive mixes and this makes his firs episode of the podcast. Ryan is an East Coast underground rave LEGEND. He's been around forever! He's been throwing raves with some of the best crews in the game for over 25 years now. He owns what I think will soon be the best DNB label in the states ( I might be a little biased..I recently became his A&R)...lol. He also does graphics for a lot of rave crews around the country. This weeks guest was recommended by more than a few people over the last few years. In that time, I have had the pleasure to meet the man himself and I think we DJ'd a house party somewhere? He's a sweetheart and a PROPER junglist. He got his start at 14 when he discovered turntables and beat machines for the first time. Already a musician playing keys, guitar, trombone, and vocals, he felt right at home behind the decks . Influenced by his Jamaican roots and fully hooked after hearing Roni Size & Reprazent’s New Forms, he dove deep into Jungle, Drum & Bass. I knew of Brandon for a while but didn't actually meet him until last summer at a party. Him and his wife are vibe and we have been friends since. In a culture that isn't known for people of the highest character, it's always such a treat to meet some great humans that love this music too. He is a Tampa Bay–based DJ, promoter, and founder of Orion Records, known for pushing the underground drum & bass scene across Florida. As a driving force behind Orion Records’ Drum & Bass Sessions, he has helped bring international talent and authentic DnB culture to local stages while supporting regional artists. Regularly appearing on lineups alongside respected names in the genre, he continues to build community and keep the sound system culture alive in Tampa Bay.
