Getting to celebrate the individuals that make our culture happen is rewarding af! Originally the JAXDNB mix series was going to be two weeks but after hearing about this weeks guest and learning how important he is to the local DNB scene, we had to include him. He's deeply involved in making JAXDNB happen and has been for a long time now. His crew (JAX DNB) is an institution not only in Florida but the East Coast and abroad. Their influence can not be overstated. He is a fan of this music, a producer, DJ, and  a promoter. For his second mix in this series, Jeff  recreates his winning set from the 2nd round of the Black Box Denver DNB battle. "Leading up to this show someone had to drop off the lineup last minute, which gave each contestant 80 minutes. I was stoked to have double the length of the previous battle so I could go a bit deeper. This mix runs through all of the DNB and Jungle Flavors I love with plenty of twists and turns along the way. AJS #152 Borrowed Drums

He's back! Jeff has become a show favorite over the last year or so and we love having him on. This will be the first set of a 3 part series we will be hosting over the next few weeks. His set was recorded live at the Black Box in Denver Colorado. Here is the man himself to tell you about it in his own words.
"This mix is my first winning battle set from 2025. Originally prepared as a one-hour journey, it was reworked into a 40-minute rollercoaster shortly before showtime, trimming the deeper sections to let the energy hit harder. This is a live recording from the soundboard at The Black Box with no cut-and-paste edits — mistakes and all. One audible gaff made it in, and I left it there as a reminder that anything can happen live, and the show must go on."

I met this weeks guest at a festival we were playing at last year. She had just finished her set and she was really excited! Her energy and enthusiasm were really cool. we swapped stickers and when I asked her name she said "everyone calls me "Ravemom" She's one of those awesome rave people that looks after her crew and keeps an eye out for everybody really. Her house, called "Kandi Land Underground" is INCREDIBLE. For people that love rave people and this culture, it's like a museum. Amy's house is my favorite spot in Orlando to play the afters at🫶 Amy is a force of positivity and a pretty terrific human. She's a producer, a promoter, and a DJ..Shes an all around vibe.
